Before the end of 2023, THEON received several new contracts from its customers around the world.

Two framework agreements with duration of up to 7 and up to 5 years were signed with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for the supply of thermal weapon sights and thermal monoculars, that are part of the state-of-the-art THERMIS MK2 series of thermal sights. While the first agreement is destined for a specific European NATO member state, the second agreement is indeed open for NSPA NVO SP (Night Vision Opto-electronics Support Partnership) nine member nations, but also its program partner states. THEON has already received the first purchase order for an initial quantity of thermal sights.

Another contract award was received by a European NATO member state for its Extra Long Range THERMIS systems, which along with the above NSPA contract highlights customer demand for THEON’s new series of thermal products.

With these 3 contracts for its THERMIS MK2 family of thermal sights, THEON continues its efforts to establish itself as the leading company for thermal sights.

Furthermore, the company expects that closing of the books at the year-end will lead to additional sales, mostly from its European customers, especially from those under existing frame agreements.

This is added to the recently announced success of THEON, which will provide to Elbit America, as its exclusive subcontractor, its dedicated night vision binocular further to the new five-year $500 million IDIQ contract for the supply of the Squad Binocular Night Vision Goggle (SBNVG) to the US Marine Corps (USMC) that Elbit Systems of America (Elbit America) has been awarded. Final manufacturing and dissemination of the complete SBNVG solution will be performed at Elbit America’s Roanoke, Virginia facility. The new USMC contract has been activated and the first orders are expected to be received in the short term.

For technical reasons, the signature ceremony of the already awarded contract OCCAR NVGs Contract Amendment No. 2, which was first scheduled to take place on 18th December 2023 at the OCCAR-EA premises in Bonn, has been rescheduled to be held on 26th January 2024.

THEON in consortium with its partner HENSOLDT currently hold the contract for the Production and In-Service Support of Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) with the international organization OCCAR through which 29,550 Mikron Night Vision Binoculars have already been contracted for supply to the German and Belgian Armed Forces. The contract signature ceremony concerns an additional tranche of the existing contract, details of which will be announced after the ceremony.

Since the beginning of 2023, the company has managed to enter new markets with a full range of products, and as a result, it currently exports to 66 countries compared to 58 at the end of 2022. At the same time, many existing customers are choosing to extend their agreements with THEON, which THEON believes demonstrates the superior quality of its products and the high customer satisfaction and loyalty of its customers.
